ROASTER'S NOTES:
While the area of Oaxaca that produces this coffee is very close to the city of the same name, the ruggedness of the area means several hours of travel in order to reach the coffee fields. The range is coastal and very much influenced by Pacific weather patterns. This unique climate has a profound impact on cup quality. This organic coffee is fully washed and sundried. 

The producing group is called “Union de Productores Las Flores,” or UPLF, and is located near the town of Eloxochitlàn de Flores Magòn. General farm sizes are very small, averaging no more than three hectares. Individual producers de-pulp their own coffees on-site and then transport parchment coffee to a centralized UPFL mill where coffees are pooled together to create exportable lot sizes.

CUP CHARACTERISTICS:

The cup is very chocolaty and sweet with profound aromatics of honey and clove. A medium light roast is imparted to develop these sweet flavors and coax out a heavy and creamy mouthfeel. This offer from Oaxaca is sure to please even the most discerning coffee aficionado.
