Print Coffee Report
This Kenyan coffee is produced by the Rung’eto Farmers Cooperative Society. There are nearly 2200 members that are part of this producing group located along the southern slopes of Mt. Kenya. There are three milling “factories” that include Karimikui, Kii, and Kiangoi that are regionally located in order to better serve the producers. Farmers deliver cherry throughout the harvest season where it is wet milled and then dried by the Karimukui factory.
This is a fully washed coffee. It is dried on raised beds and is scrupulously sorted. It has an AB designation, meaning the bean size is screened somewhat smaller. However, the smaller size does not translate to smaller flavor!
True to Kenyan cup profile this coffee is vibrant and fruity with floral nuances. You will find a bouquet of citrus blossom with flavors of apricot and nectarine. Bold and flavorsome, this coffee is sure to liven up your day.
