	Africa Coffee is a plant native to the Horn of Africa. It has traveled the globe and found soil that will nourish it on nearly every continent, but East Africa remains its home.		Indonesia Dutch sailors winding their way around the globe managed to sneak coffee plants away from their indigenous origins to the island of Java in the early 1600s.
	Latin America The coffees of Mexico, Central and South America call out for varietal distinctions like wine’s system of appellation.		Blends We construct our blends after each single origin coffee is out of the roaster. The unique complexity of each coffee is coaxed out in the roasting process and they are then blended to create a marvelous mélange of aroma, flavor and body.
	Espresso A great barista is a combination of artist and technician. A good machine and the right coffee give the home espresso enthusiast the perfect tools to pull a splendid espresso with a crown of reddish crema and robust flavor.		Dark Roast Only the most dense and highest quality Central American beans are selected for our dark roasts. Never burned or charred, our artisan roasters carefully coax out the individual characteristics that we feel define each style.
	Decaf Decaffeinated coffees don’t have to be “less than great”. We insist on buying decaffeinated coffees that meet the same high standards as our single origin and blended coffees. All our decaffeinated coffees are water-processed without the use of chemicals.		Organic Certified organic coffee has been farmed without the use of pesticides or other synthetic inputs, which may include chemical fertilizers, herbicides and fungicides.
	Fair Trade Fair Trade certification guarantees that farmers from participating cooperatives receive a fair price for their coffee, have suitable working conditions, take part in a democratic decision-making process and maintain high standards of agricultural stewardship.
