We designed this website to feature photographs taken by Batdorf & Bronson employees on our trips to origin. Throughout these travels, we have developed amazing relationships with farmers and their families across the globe. Capturing these interactions in photographs helps us define relationship coffees and illustrate why they are so special. We haven't been everywhere yet, so a few of the photos come from our trusted importers and colleagues in the coffee industry and are always noted as such.
In addition to the wonderful photographs that grace the pages of DancingGoats.com, we are proud that our signature Dancing Goats logo was designed by noted Olympia artist Nikki McClure. Nikki took the story of Kaldi and the dancing goats, which describes the discovery of coffee, and turned it into a beautiful papercut that captures the high spirits of our favorite caffeinated creature. She also designed our Omar's Organic Blend logo which depicts the Sufi master who introduced coffee as beverage. Nikki's illustrations are also featured on our coffee bags and she exhibits her work annually at our Olympia coffeehouse.
